A Loire castle in Sancerrois Discover a small fortified square in the County of Sancerre, witness to the Hundred Years War and the Wars of Religion in Haut-Berry. Restored to around 1640 condition. In summer: 4 daily guided tours of the castle by reservation.

The Jean Linard Cathedral is a remarkable site of singular art. Located 2hrs 30 minutes from Paris, between Sancerre and La Borne, this cathedral, "the highest in the world, because it has the sky for a roof", soars from the sunken flint quarry.
