In 2028, Bourges will hold the title of European Capital of Culture, and the Route Jacques Cœur has decided to work with a number of local players on a ceramics project.

A ” European Capital of Culture ” is a city designated by the European Union to highlight itscultural wealth and strengthen the sense of belonging to Europe.

For one year, it organises artistic and cultural events to attract visitors and encourage exchanges between cultures.

The title also aims to support local development, tourism and long-term cultural cooperation.

The Route Jacques Cœur is one of the winners of the CR! competition, thanks to its artistic project based on ceramics. The aim is to bring together our members and other players around a common theme that is a must at local level!
