The cathedral is a Unesco World Heritage site, and includes the lower church, which houses the 1st Romanesque crypt containing the relics of St. Stephen, a Renaissance tomb in the rotunda, and fragments of the famous 13th-century rood screen: a masterpiece of Gothic art.
