The location of Bourges has favored the development of marshes that surround 3/4 of the city. Exploited in allotments, it is a unique space, a few minutes away from the Cathedral.
Today, the marshes are concentrated in the northern part of the lower town, forming a vast 135-hectare area, 130 of which has been listed as a natural monument since 2003. To the north of the historic center, the Yèvre and Voiselle marshes form a unique area. Guided walking tour. Reservations required at the Tourist Office ticket office. Minimum 2 people required for departure.
